Warren Montoya
Warren was born of Santa Ana Pueblo (Tamaya) and Santa Clara Pueblo (Khapo Owinge’) in New Mexico.

He is the founder of RezonateArt.com, a company dedicated to promoting and selling contemporary Native art, and also contributes art works to the site. Warren works to develop opportunities for artists through public arts projects, events, and collaborations in New Mexico and neighboring states.

His work is guided by traditional indigenous ideals as a pueblo person. He has maintained a passion for art since he drew comics at age six and has won awards in painting from multiple art events. Warren practices many forms of creative expression, primarily focusing on realistic portraits and hyper-colorful abstract paintings, illustration, contemporary wood jewelry, and fashion design. Many of his artistic concepts are influenced by history, cultural beliefs, and ideas of environmental sustainability.

In 2006, Warren received a Bachelors degree in art from Fort Lewis College. As an entrepreneur, he has participated in international programs such as Creative Startups by the Global Center For Cultural Entrepreneurship and has been awarded several opportunities to support the growth of his business. All of these experiences have shaped personal and professional values surrounding cultural resiliency, wellness, self-determination, and connectivity. For Warren, building positive and productive relationships, creating art, and bringing others up are critical to maintaining balance and appreciation for life.
