Hands ON ABQ – 2016
STEP 1: MAKE A MESS!
In February and March 2016 We Are This City in collaboration with the 14th Annual Breakin’ Hearts and Harwood Art Center made 75 more canvases where 500+ community members put handprints in paint on the panels, which were then cut up and distributed to 75 artists to make the Hands On art collection.

STEP 3: EXHIBIT THE WORK
Hands On ABQ Opening – Art Show, Music & Fun! | 12/1/2016

Hands On ABQ all started with 500 people putting their handprints on 4ftx4ft boards that were then cut up into 2ftx2ft and distributed to 80 local artists as canvasses.
We Are This City has teamed up with Nob Hill Bar & Grill, Immastar Productions, Acosta Strong Fine Art, Ethnograph and Concept Flux to bring ABQ an epic show exhibiting this collection of work for the whole month of December starting with Shop ‘n Stroll on Dec. 1st!!
La Chat Lunatique will be playing from 7pm-10pm!

Stars Gotta Land Somewhere is a FREE art exhibition of 4 different We Are This City projects at the Sunport International Airport.
The Sunport has teamed up with We Are This City to hang a body of artwork from 4 different collections, consisting of 166 pieces, made by 500+ local community members and 150 New Mexican artists.
