ABQ Up With Paint – 2018
STEP 1: MAKE A MESS!
How it all began!
On March 11th, 2017 We Are This City’s collaborated with Free Range and Up With People to give 100 people from 20 countries the opportunity to spray each other, a wall and ten 4’x8’ panels with fire extinguishers filled with paint. We Are This City is cutting up the panels into 11″x11″ squares and distributing them to local artists as canvases. Once all the pieces are completed by local artists we will exhibit them at multiple local venues.
STEP 3: EXHIBIT THE WORK – Shop Burque! – 4 Shows in Dec.

Starting Thursday December 6th – 6pm-9pm at Nob Hill Bar & Grill for Nob Hill Shop & Stroll
– Friday December 7th – 6pm-9pm at Red Door Brewing Downtown for ABQ Art Walk
– Friday December 14th – 6pm-11pm at Dialogue Brewing
– Friday December 21st – 6pm-9pm at Factory on 5th Gallery and Kosmos
For 4 nights – Moonstone PopUp, Enchanted PopUp and We Are This City, are teaming up and taking up residence in 4 venues in our beautiful city. That’s right – Nob Hill Bar and Grill, Red Door Downtow, Dialogue & Factory on 5th Gallery all will be filled with ART, crafts and FUN! 260+ artists from around NM will be hanging on the walls. Also in the mix will be 16 local vendors: records, jewelry, art, and more! As if that weren’t enough, local music will be filling the air and your ears with amazing jams as well. There will simply and easily be something for everyone.
If fine crafts weren’t enough, what about craft beer & drinks too? That’s right – enjoy a pint or a mixed drink while you pick out your Christmas gifts! NHB&G, Red Door, Dialogue and Factory on 5th all will be serving up great beer and cocktails, on these special nights.
