United by Paint – 2019
STEP 1: MAKE A MESS!
How it started!
We Are This City, New Mexico United, Meow Wolf, The City of Albuquerque, Garfield, Hayes & Kennedy Middle School’s collaborated to do ABQ United by Paint.
ABQ United by Paint is a project where we rolled soccer balls in paint and gave middle school kids and NM United soccer players the opportunity to kick them at 4’x8’ panels which we have cut up and distributed to local NM artists in similar fashion to previous We Are This City projects. We Are This City had artists paint live at NM United games on the community made panels. We are now going to exhibit the finished artwork starting February 29th!

United Day at Electric Playhouse will be a super event for the entire family! The event is free but because of space limitations, you will need to register.
